This privacy policy sets out how “Transition by Design” uses and protects any information that you give “Transition by Design” when you use this website. “Transition by Design” is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

We are collecting minimal if any personal information.  At this time, the only information that is kept is contact information including name, phone number and/or email address in order to respond to you.  We do NOT cold-call people.  We respond to inquiries via email, text, and phone messages and only use the contact information for that purpose, or for ongoing work, once you have gotten started.

 

We are NOT at this time sending promotional email about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.  We don’t have the time!  Please look for such updates on LinkedIn or the website itself.

We do not need to use the level of website security that is required to take credit cards.  You will not be paying any fees via a credit card. We DO have an SSL License to protect the site so that you should be safe while on it.

In no event shall Transition by Design or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption,) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Transition by Design Internet site, even if Transition by Design or a Transition by Design authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Any claim relating to Transition by Design web site shall be governed by the State of Kansas or Missouri, whichever law is in greater favor of Transition By Design Inc.  TBD Inc. has registered trademarks in both of those states.  Otherwise, TBD Inc. has proactively retired the clinical license of its owner to pursue non-medical approaches via  therapeutic relationship coaching, so the licensure is not in question, and TBD Inc. clients are therefore also NOT limited to living in Kansas anymore.  All clients are notified via the contract they sign that this Clinical License has been retired.

Zoom Privacy and security

Under our zoom subscription, their additional privacy protection is turned on, called the BAA, which is similar to HIPPA quality protection.  If this should inadvertently get turned off, there is also the extra protection that any person wanting to be in the coaching session room can only come in after s/he is “admitted” into the zoom room.  In addition, Transition By Design Inc. is notified when anyone attempts to get into the room.

 

Video Recordings

You’ll have the option on TBD’s contract to opt-in for TBD’s recording any of your sessions.  The great benefit of this is that these recordings offer continual improvement for TBD Inc. for the work done with YOU. It is the coach who is being evaluated for improvement, to serve you better.  Even greater a benefit to the client/s is that they will then have access to their cases being reviewed (with NO CHARGE to the client/s) by top experts in the country in their topic areas.  Video Recording is NOT required, and the client/s can say no, and opt-out from the beginning, or opt-out at any time thereafter.  Any notice to rescind permission needs to be conferred in writing and dated (preferably via email).  Additionally, the client is required to call or text the same, since emails can easily get buried and lost.
